Tutorial how to flashing / upgrade firmware Symbian S60v5 phones with JAF. I use JAF because I think this way will be faster and can minimize upgrade failure than using NSU to be used to upgrade the internet connection and usually often fail because the Internet connection is not fast enough. For those of you who do not have a fast internet connection can use this method as an alternative to upgrading the phone firmware.

Before starting the flash HP needed is a set of software as a flash, as follows:

If everything is complete let's get started

1. Extract from the first JAF 1.98.62 ZIP file and double click to install it JAFSetup_1.98.62.exe. (If the file is detected as a virus turn off your antivirus, just take this program safe)
2. Copy the firmware file that you already downloaded to C: \ Program Files \ Nokia \ Phoenix \ Products \ RM-XXX, if the folder is not there please you create exactly that. (caption: In the RM-XXX you change the type of products from your mobile phone, eg: Since I am using Nokia 5800 XpressMusic RM-356 then I write it like this C: \ Program Files \ Nokia \ Phoenix \ Products \ RM-356)
3. Run OGM_JAF_PKEY_Emulator_v3.exe program, make sure the settings on pkey Emulator as shown below and click GO. (caption: If you are using Vista or Windows 7 right-click, run as admin, and set compabilitynya to XP mode) 
4. If the message "Error: BOX DRIVER NOT INSTALLED" just click Ok.
5. BB5 tab and select settings as shown below.
6. In the Select Phone Model choose according to the type of phone you (example: Because I use a Nokia 5800 XpressMusic RM-356 so I chose RM-356 Nokia 5800D-1).
7. Note that boxed in the figure below, make sure all four green lights. It marked the file you want flashed complete and in place. (caption: MCU = CORE, ROFS2 = PPM, CNT = ROFS3, APE Variant = UDA)
8. Turn off the phone and colokon to the computer, do not forget to do a backup and MMC format first. (tips: plugs directly into a USB port that is on the chassis or motherboard, please use extensions)
9. Click the flash, if you get out the message Warning!!!, Click yes.
10. Press the power button on the phone until the message "Found" in JAF it, if it appears just off the power on.But if the message "Not found!" In his JAF please repeat step number 9, it means the moment when pressing the power on less precise.
11. Wait until the flashing process is complete a message marked "Done" on his JAF.
12. Disconnect the data cable from the computer and allow you to restart your phone and enter kesettingan early as the first time you buy a new phone.
13. Let stand and not on the person who tinkers in advance about 3-5 minutes for the firmware to adjust the overall hardware.
